A new version of the CLP was launched, tagged as CLP version 2.0. Responding to the needs of the current times, the CLP, after careful deliberation, is now being offered as an 8-part series (previously, a 12-part series of talks). Aside from the reduction of the sessions from 12 to 8, the main reasons for this change are (1) Relevance and (2) Continuity. Revisions revolve around how our evangelization communication process works – bearing in mind what message (JESUS) we want to impart to our participants, what our purpose is (to live in faith, hope and love) for evangelizing, and how we (CFC members) as messengers can relate to our target audience. While the contents of the CLP remain basically the same, the CLP v2.0 will incorporate modernizing how we conduct our sessions.
Remembering that the CLP is our premier offering in CFC, intended to bring Christ to all, we have to be intentional in our discipleship. We will incorporate new methods on how we evangelize and reach out to others, including opening our CLP sessions online. With the CLP v2.0, we will have updated content and we will incorporate interactive materials. This will make the sessions more charismatic, more dynamic and engaging.
Several leaders have already attended the training sessions for CLP v2.0. More trainings will be offered in 2021. So, watch out for them!
